What is
Outdoor Boudoir?

Boudoir Photography is a style of intimate, sensual, and personal portraits, usually taken in a private setting. The word "boudoir" is actually French for a woman's private sitting room or bedroom.

Outdoor Boudoir takes that same intimate, sensual approach and sets it on the backdrop of wild places -- beaches, forests, rivers, and oceans. Creating a striking contrast and artistic comparison of beauty in its many forms.

Do I need modeling experience?

Absolutely not! Most clients have zero experience. I will guide you through natural poses, breathwork, and movement cues so you feel confident and supported. You'll be surprised to see how natural it can feel when given the space to "feel yourself."

What should I wear?

I provide a full wardrobe guide. Think lace, sheer fabrics, flowing pieces, soft knits, body jewelry, and anything that helps you feel both comfortable and sexy. It's the perfect excuse to treat yourself to a sexy lil number, something that will look fabulous during the shoot and able to be worn again anytime you want to access that energy.

I’m nervous. Is that normal?

YES! I always remind people that nervousness and excitement read the same way in the body. That little buzzy feeling? That's a sign something in you is coming alive at the idea of doing this. Book a quick call with me to talk through your nerves and find out if you're ready. And if it's not now, it's still good data to put it on the bucketlist!

Will you Photoshop me?

I edit for mood, lighting, and skin clarity. I will remove temporary blemishes, but I do not alter your body shape or features. There are lots of ways to guide you through flattering lighting and posing, but the intent is to find a place of radical acceptance and celebration.

What if someone sees us outside?

I choose secluded, private outdoor locations that prioritize your comfort and confidentiality. That being said, I cannot guarantee we won't come across a soul. I always bring blankets/robes for quick coverups in case of emergencies. Once, a couple of grandmas came by and were hootin' and hollerin' saying they wish they'd done something like that when they were young.

I think it's a part of the thrill.

DO YOU ONLY DO OUTDOOR Boudoir?

No. I prioritize featuring the niché I find most unique to my work, but I do all kinds of sessions. Indoor Boudoir is an excellent option for couples or if you want to spend your time slowing into the moment, rather the thrill of an adventure. I help find and book vacations/staycations at rentals that offer beautiful lighting and thematic settings. This is also a great option to find a location that could be used as a combo of indoor/outdoor.

Do you do
other kinds of photography?

YES! I have shot weddings, engagements, branding for small businesses, content for bars and restaurants, corporate headshots, family photos, performances, events, even real estate! I'm far more concerned with having a genuine connection with my clients than any specific kind of work. You can check out some of those photos here.

How long is a session?

This depends on how far we go, a mountain top hike takes longer than a riverside stroll. I also like to take time to make sure you feel comfortable and every person takes a different amount of time to get comfortable with the camera. Typically it takes between 2-4 hours, but not all of that is spent in front of the camera. We'll take snack breaks, dance breaks, and time to just sit and be with nature. I always bring an oracle or tarot deck. This will be an adventure. I'm in no rush, and encourage you to feel the same.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We can reschedule or embrace the mood (foggy, overcast, soft rain, snow). Safety and comfort always come first, but sometimes embracing the elements lead to the most magical photos.

Can I keep my photos private?

Absolutely. Your session can be 100% confidential. I will never share your images without your written permission.

Who do you photograph?

Everybody! All bodies, genders, identities, and ages. Couples, throuples, and polycules. Best Friends Frolicking and Mother/Daughter lineages. My work is fully inclusive and affirming. The beauty in me sees and honors the beauty in you. Period.

Can I do a theme or concept?

Omg, yes pleaseeee! Absolutely — witchy, goddess, dark feminine, celestial, forest nymph, soft cottagecore, water siren, etc. The more collaborative this can feel, the better!

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. I want these to be accessible to everyone who deeply connects with my work and is interested in working with me. If budget the only thing between you and a photoshoot with me, please reach out. I also have been known to accept partial trade.
